about me

I am an Israeli educator, visual artist, graphic designer, and cultural entrepreneur. For nearly 30 years, I lived and worked in Mitzpe Ramon, where I played a central role in driving local cultural and community development before moving to Atlit.

My work was instrumental in transforming Mitzpe Ramon's industrial zone into the "Spice Route Quarter" (Rova Darchei HaBesamim)—a vibrant hub for art, culture, and tourism. Between 1994 and 2019, I operated an art studio in the quarter, co-founded the "Desert Resonance Research Association," and helped open the "El-Fazal" café.

In 2010, I launched "Street Language" (Sfat Rechov), a community initiative bringing murals and photo exhibitions to public spaces. Working under the street name "Zroobavel," I integrated my Hebrew-calligraphic style into local architecture and my studio art. Additionally, I have been deeply involved in regional media, co-founding Route 40 magazine (Kvisch 40) and editing publications such as Aderaba and HaMitzpe.
